Maturing conditions of bimetallic nanocomposites as a new factor influencing Au–Ag synergism and impact of Cu(II) and/or Fe(III) on luminescence

Gold–silver nanoclusters with fixed Au:Ag ratio were matured under different conditions. Fluorescence and synergism varied, with optimum at 37 °C, 2.5 h, and quenching by Cu(II)/Fe(III) was evaluated.
