His extensive background includes roles as an Analytical Chemist, Field Service Engineer, and Application Scientist. Currently, he serves as the Technical Sales Specialist for the Trace Elemental product line at Thermo Fisher Scientific, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the technology from every angle.

Presenter: Jeff Bown (Sr. Application Scientist, Thermo Fisher Scientific)

Jeff Bown is a Senior Lab Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific with over 20 years of experience in elemental analysis. His expertise spans a wide range of applications, including environmental, clinical, and aerospace analysis. Throughout his career, Jeff has worked extensively with ICP-OES and ICP-MS instruments, developing a deep understanding of their capabilities and applications. His broad experience allows him to provide valuable insights and solutions across various industries.

Presenter: John Schmelzel (Senior Applications Scientist, Thermo Fisher Scientific)

John Schmelzel is a Senior Lab Application Specialist for the Trace Elemental Analysis product line at Thermo Fisher Scientific with over 35 years of experience. He earned his degree in Chemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder. For more than three decades, John has provided extensive support for AA, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS technologies. He is currently focused on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance spectral interpretation.

Moderator: Sabrina Antonio (Regional Marketing Manager, Trace Elemental Analysis, Thermo Fisher Scientifc)

Sabrina Antonio holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and leads the regional marketing strategy, leveraging over 25 years of diverse experience in chemical engineering and analytical instrumentation. Her professional background includes roles as an industrial chemist, US EPA Contract Laboratory Program Lead Auditor, Senior Chemical Engineer and Construction Project Manager at major power utilities, and Product Specialist for atomic spectroscopy instrumentation.
