Rapid Analysis of Elemental Impurities in Li-ion Battery Samples by an ICP-OES and an Autodilutor

Lithium-ion batteries are widely used in electronic devices due to their large capacity, high voltage, light weight, and lack of memory effects. The analysis of elemental impurities and composition in the entire supply chain is vital as it can impact the performance, safety, and lifespan of a battery. In this webinar we will discuss how to use a smart ICP-OES and an auto-dilutor to increase productivity and avoid common challenges such as spectral interferences, with these complex sample matrices.
Presenter: Sima Singha, PhD (ICP-OES Application Scientist, Atomic Spectroscopy, Agilent Technologies, Inc.)
Sima has over fifteen years of hands on experience as an applications scientist in the field of atomic spectroscopy. Before joining Agilent in 2017, managed an agricultural chemistry laboratory for the analysis of water, soil, and plant tissue digests using ICP-OES for various EPA methods. She received a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago with numerous peer-reviewed publications.
