Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP‑MS) is widely recognized for its sensitivity and multi‑element capabilities. Whether you are a novice, intermediate, or advanced user of the technique, unexpected challenges can arise.  These challenges range from routine maintenance issues to complex matrix or spectral interferences as well as environment specific considerations. In this webinar, we will explore how the help functions and diagnostic tools embedded in MassHunter® software can be used to efficiently overcome these challenges. Attendees will gain insight into using the software as an active partner in method development and troubleshooting, as well as a resource for minimizing downtime by performing proactive maintenance tasks.

Presenter: Jeff Sayen (ICP-MS Application Scientist)

Jeffrey Sayen s an ICP-MS Application Scientist at Agilent Technologies with over 15 years of experience in analytical chemistry. He specializes in atomic spectroscopy techniques, including ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and Flame AA. Jeffrey is passionate about ICP-MS and enjoys delivering product and application overviews at customer sites, seminars, and industry events. Prior to joining Agilent, he held the position of Senior Field Application Scientist at another major instrument manufacturer, where he focused on analytical methodologies across a range of regulated industries. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Inorganic Chemistry from Michigan State University.
