The Problem

Liposomes, the phospholipid based nanocarriers, are a versatile and clinically proven delivery technology for a huge range of drugs, from proteins to small molecules, both hydrophobic and hydrophilic. Unfortunately, traditional methods of manufacturing are slow and inefficient. Even when working with more modern microfluidic methods, you’re racking up tons of wasted time, material, and costs.

The Solution

Sunshine brings the precision, scalability and reproducibility of microfluidics and combines it with experimental automation. This gives access to rapid screens of process conditions such as total flow rate and flow rate ratio with minimal user intervention - all while using small sample sizes and reusable microfluidics to help you save precious sample, time and cut back on costs.

In this seminar, we’ll go over the basics of liposome formulation, then dive into the data, showing how Sunshine can be used to make a range of liposomal formulations.
