The Problem:

Every antibody needs the right formulation to feel cozy and stable during whatever processing or storage challenges it will face. The sheer number of factors going into any formulation buffer means predicting the optimal buffer formulation for a given antibody is almost impossible – so instead high-throughput, low volume buffer screening is the most useful tool to find the perfect formulation to keep your antibody stable and developable.

The Solution:

Stunner is the only tool that screens for the best formulations by measuring concentration, size, and colloidal stability to see how an antibody behaves in every formulation. After buffer exchange, accurate concentration measurements are critical to comparing different conditions. Once concentration has been normalized, size measurements using dynamic light scattering (DLS) tell us if the sample contains aggregates and offers insights into how comfy your antibody is in that environment. Once you’ve narrowed the options down to just a few candidates, colloidal stability measurements like kD and B22 detect if aggregation is on the way or if antibodies prefer their own space

The Proof:

In this seminar, we'll show why Stunner is the ultimate antibody characterization tool to find the best formulation for your antibody. We buffer exchange our antibody into several formulation buffers and assess concentration, size and colloidal stability in each formulation. Results from each condition are ranked to find the best formulation for this antibody. With the unique combo of UV/Vis, DLS, and other light scattering techniques, Stunner takes formulation screening to the fast track to find the perfect condition to keep your mAbs comfortable.
