We are looking for a new colleague to Bruker BioSpin Spain that will be based in Madrid area with frequent national (and some international) travels. As our NMR Service & Applications Specialist (m/f/d) you will provide expert hands-on technical expertise in all aspects of installation, commissioning, basic customer training, maintenance, fault-finding and customer support in respect of the company’s products. The primary objective is to be an efficient and effective member of the Customer Service team in delivering highly competent, effective and focused solution support to the customer base to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and to further the professional image of the Company.
SERVICE & APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST (NMR)
Responsibilities
NMR service and application support for our customers.
NMR spectrometer installation at customer site.
Customer training at site, in-factory, and online.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting of NMR spectrometer.
Provide support to sales, marketing, and service.
Provide support to the hardware & software development teams.
Frequent travel within Spain is required, occasionally other destinations.
Qualifications
Master or PhD in chemistry, biophysics or physics, preferably with NMR context.
Knowledge and experience with the implementation and development of liquid or solid state NMR experiments.
Good understanding of modern NMR spectrometer hardware concepts. In this respect, experience with Bruker’s NMR hardware and software (Avance electronics, TopSpin) is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with maintaining and troubleshooting spectrometer hardware is desired.

Fluency in English language required.
Current valid driving license.
