To strengthen our development team at the Waldbronn site near Karlsruhe, we are looking for a R&D Software Developer (m/f/d) for our chromatography software system. With this we control our measuring devices, analyze the measurement data, calculate results and store them in a central database. This software helps our customers to analyze very important data and make the right decision.
R&D SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (M/F/D)
How you can contribute:
- You will be part of a Scrum team, attend our training program and afterwards take over software development tasks together with your team members. You will work in an international environment. The team works together with others in Europe, Asia and America on the next generation of our software using modern technologies.
Your responsibilities include:

Software and database architecture within the OpenLab product family specially to enable new solutions.

Active participation in and contribution to an agile development process (Scrum).

Collaboration and coordination with other, globally distributed development teams.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in (Bio-) Computer Science, Medical technology or equivalent.

Several years of professional experience in the field of object-oriented software development with well-founded technical understanding as well as experience in software development using Microsoft technologies (.NET, C# and Entity Framework) and object-oriented development).

You are familiar with data management technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL or Knowledge Management Systems as well as database architecture.

Ideally, you have experience in one or more of the following areas: microservices, GraphQL, OData, agile software development and development processes such as continuous integration, software testing, Git, JIRA.

Good command of English and/or German.
