As a Software Engineer III, you'll design and implement sophisticated software applications that control our electron microscopes and analytical instruments, helping customers make discoveries that improve lives worldwide. Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent, with more than 7 years of experience in software development in a commercial environment.
- 7+ years of experience in UI development using Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience in end-to-end software development lifecycle, including development, testing, releases, and production support.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and PI planning
- Active participation in PI Planning and feature demos, including presenting solutions to stakeholders, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development practices, including AIDLC, Spec-Driven Development, and Agentic coding approaches.
- Experience mentoring engineers and serving as a technical lead for UI development initiatives.
- Ability to design and develop reusable, scalable UI components and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to triage and resolve UI production issues or customer incidents within agreed SLAs and recommend effective workarounds to minimize customer impact.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
