Sales Manager – Materials Science
We’re partnering with an innovative manufacturer of powder characterization instrumentation used across additive manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and advanced materials. This is a relationship-focused role managing established accounts while developing new opportunities through conferences and industry events.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and grow accounts across the Eastern US and Canada.
- Sell analytical instruments, service contracts, and measurement services.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.
Candidate Qualifications
- Scientific sales experience (instrumentation, consumables, or other technical products).
- PhD preferred in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar; strong technical experience will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging with scientists and engineers.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable with 30–40% travel.
Salary:
- $70-80K annual base salary + $50k commission at plan (uncapped)
