Genomics / Molecular Biology Sales
Are you a proven life science sales professional looking to take full ownership of a high-impact U.S. territory? This is an opportunity to join a growing commercial team, driving revenue across a portfolio of capital equipment and proprietary consumables supporting PCR and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and grow a multi-state territory across the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, targeting academic, clinical, molecular oncology labs, and CROs
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to win new business and expand existing accounts
- Sell a mix of sample prep instrumentation and proprietary consumables into genomics and molecular biology workflows
Candidate Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical sales experience within life sciences
- Strong familiarity with high-throughput omics workflows (NGS, genomics, proteomics)
- Comfortable with ~50-75% travel
Nice to Have
- Experience with companies such as Qiagen, Thermo Fisher Scientific, IDT, Roche, or NEB
- Hands-on knowledge of PCR, NGS workflows, or clinical lab environments
Salary:
- $120-140K annual base salary + $60-70k commission at plan (uncapped)
