NMR Characterization Scientist
Job Description
The following are the responsibilities and skillsets needed for this role:
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy is a must-have skill
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills will be necessary to interface with multiple clients at the same time.
- Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy
- Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
- Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)
- Static Light Scattering (SLS)
- Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
- Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy
- Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
- Buffer Preparation
- Adhering to Good Documentation Practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and 2-4 years of directly related industry experience or a MS up to 2 years of directly related industry experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experience
- Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity

Additional Information
- The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-5 pm
- May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
