Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

As a QC Sampler at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to advancing scientific discovery and enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. You'll perform essential sampling of Raw Material for laboratory procedures while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll handle analytical instruments, and maintain detailed documentation of all procedures. This position offers hands-on experience in a sampling lab where attention to detail and adherence to protocols is critical.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • No prior experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and aseptic techniques preferred
  • Proficiency in handling hazardous materials
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
  • Ability to work with hazardous materials and wear required PPE
  • Knowledge of GMP practices preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • May require working in cold environments
  • Must follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
