As part of a motivated team, you will work with us in Waldbronn, Germany, as a Fullstack Software Developer, contributing to the design and implementation of optimal solutions for our products.

This is an excellent opportunity to actively participate in the development of technologies shaping the future of laboratory digitalization and automation. Our shared goal is to explore, identify, and develop new products, processes, and technologies—always with the aim of making laboratory workflows simpler and more efficient for our customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of complex service-oriented .NET backend solutions
  • Development of well-structured and maintainable APIs
  • Close collaboration with frontend developers and designers to ensure seamless integration across the entire software stack
  • Participation in an agile development environment (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, continuous improvement)
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from software, laboratory, and analytical instrumentation domains

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or equivalent qualifications/experience
  • Strong experience in web-based software development, especially with:
    • ASP.NET Core / C#
    • REST-based APIs
    • WebSockets (e.g., SignalR)
    • Messaging technologies (e.g., AMQP)
  • Experience with frontend technologies (preferably Angular, TypeScript)
  • Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD processes
  • Familiarity with API description standards such as OpenAPI or AsyncAPI
  • Open-minded personality with strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Very good English skills and good German skills, with motivation to further improve them
  • Willingness to gain expertise in bio/pharma laboratory environments, or existing knowledge in this field
  • Ideally, initial experience in the life sciences sector and with its regulatory requirements

What We Offer

  • A creative working environment within a dynamic and diverse team
  • Numerous career development opportunities in a global company
  • Flexible working hours (flexitime account) and a wide range of work-life balance benefits
  • Attractive compensation package, including performance-based salary increases, bonuses, and additional benefits such as a company pension scheme
  • Highly motivated international teams and exciting areas of responsibility
