We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, people-oriented Account Manager for OH and Western PA. In this position, you will be responsible for driving sales of Agilent Technologies Atomic Spectroscopy solutions and developing professional sales relationships with our customers in the Chemical & Energy, Environmental, Forensics, Academia and other Applied Market and Life Sciences accounts. You will create and successfully execute on a territory development plan that will result in sales growth outpacing our competitors. You will team with Agilent Product Specialists and Application Engineers (AE), carry a quota and be compensated for all Atomic Spectroscopy sales in the specified geography. You will be expected to develop and implement successful strategies and tactics to sell Agilent instrumentation solutions as a part of a dynamic team of sales professionals driving Agilent's success.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Achieve all sales targets around quota and sales forecasts.
- Responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide prompt response to all customer requests.
- Proactively prospect for new customers and new opportunities.
- Work collaboratively across all Agilent channels: CSD (Consumables), CSO (Service Delivery), SSD (Service Sales), COPC (Customer Operations Center).
- Solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
- Work with Field Sales Channel on the development and implementation of key marketing programs.
- Must proactively drive the sales cycle and forecast sales accurately
- Provide rigor around CRM updates, expense reporting, and other required business processes.

Candidate MUST be located within the territory geography, with preference to Columbus, OH.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent
- 4+ years of combined experience in sales and/or analytical instrumentation
- Prior experience with Atomic instrumentation preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must live or be willing to relocate to Ohio
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least March 3, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.
The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $147,675.00 - $246,125.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
