Application Support Engineer

Overview 

Waters – TA Instruments is looking for a dynamic and motivated person for the Italy and EMEA Region to provide Application Support to their customers for the main product lines: Thermal Analysis, Rheology and Microcalorimetry. The successful candidate will be required to travel throughout the entire area.

Responsibilities 

• Pre-Sales activities to support Sales, such as sample analysis, instrument demonstrations and technical meetings with potential customers.
• Post-Sales activities to boost our relationship with customers such as training courses and general support on the instruments.
• Strengthen our visibility by taking part to national and international conferences, webinars and seminars.
• Produce contents for internal and external use, such as training courses, application notes, presentations.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor or higher degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or equivalent.
• Availability for national and occasional international travels.
• Former experience with any technique from our portfolio is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong time management and independence.

Requests

• Fluent Italian and good English.
• Valid driving license B.
• The job is mainly based in Sesto San Giovanni and is a full time position.
