Key Responsibilities

As an Applications Specialist (m/f/d) Vibrational Spectroscopy, you will:

  • Develop and implement innovative applications and protocols for vibrational spectroscopy instruments.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of technology.
  • Provide advanced technical support and training to customers, ensuring they can successfully implement our products.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and deliver detailed reports on experimental results.
  • Participate in the development of marketing materials and scientific publications.
  • Present at conferences, workshops, and customer sites, showcasing our brand new solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A Ph.D. or M.Sc. or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with a strong focus on vibrational spectroscopy.
  • Proven experience in the practical application and troubleshooting of vibrational spectroscopy techniques.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Fluency in German and English, knowledge of the other European language would be advantageous
  • Spend 70% of time in the field and rest in the lab to cater for demos and getting advanced knowledge on the systems

Standard (Mon-Fri)

Environmental Conditions

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
