Bruker BioSpin has an opening for a MRI MRI customer project and applications specialist in Bruker China. An imaging specialist with experience in in-vivo imaging technology, specifically with the technology of MRI.
MRI Customer Project and Applications Specialist
Support and build a strong team of application chemists/specialists for pre-sales and post-sales supports to Bruker’s Life Science Mass Spectrometry business. The position will be required to provide instrument demonstrations & sample analyses for prospective BDAL LSMS customers, and applications & technical support and trainings to other BDAL LSMS customers in China.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with key customers to analyze application need; assists customers in designing and conducting experiments to initiate and validate the use of MRI and other preclinical imaging systems in their laboratories.
- Develops and maintains detailed technical knowledge of the specifications and operations of pre-clinical MRI
- Supports and advises the customer on use and integration of animal related hardware and software into the pre-clinical MRI
- Supports sales in the achievement of the order plan by strategic planning and work with other divisions to support post-sales related activities in a timely and professional manner.
- Implements local educational and promotional strategies to maximize customer awareness, including outreach to share marketing and product materials.
- Communicates regularly with corporate and business units to enhance the professional knowledge, participate in frequent training on products and continuing education on new applications and technologies to remain at the cutting edge of scientific knowledge.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D in in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Physics, or a MRI related field.
- Technical background (programming, system integration and medical imaging processing and analysis) in MRI is preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant scientific establishment, or same occupation background.
- A positive team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills.
- Good presentation skills and a proven ability to educate new users about MRI imaging systems. Animal handling (mice) experience for setting up in-vivo experiments is preferred.
- Must be able to travel in different areas within his/her coverage.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
