In the course of replacements we are looking for our European Headquarters in Duisburg for a

X-RAY SERVICE ENGINEER OR TECHNICIAN (M/F/D)

Your mission at Shimadzu:

• As a 2nd level Engineer in our office in Duisburg you will be responsible for the technical support of our field service engineers for our X-Ray products by phone, e-mail or remotely

• You will be responsible for training of field service engineers (m/f/d) in our training center in Duisburg. This includes creating digital training modules for our company e-learning platform

• You will perform equipment installations, maintenance, repairs and introduce customers to our products at end-customer locations within Europe and other Shimadzu Europe affiliated countries

• You will form a link to the Shimadzu Corporation in Japan and our other business partners by ensuring smooth information and knowledge exchange for the products you support

This is you:

• You have a degree equivalent to Engineer / Associate or higher in area of medical or electrical engineering or similar

• Having professional experience as a service engineer or as a technical service support

• You have analytical thinking skills and you like solving technical problems

• You are a team worker with high communication skills but as well able to work independently if required

• You have a very good command of written and spoken English and a good knowledge of German or the willingness to learn the German language

• You are proficient in the use of MS Office applications

• You are highly flexible and willing to travel

• You have a class B driver's license
