Dr. Krystelle Mafina is an accomplished product manager at PerkinElmer, where she oversees the UVS & TEA business, driving innovation and coordinating cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. With a PhD in Biomedical Biomaterials Science, Krystelle is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Scientist (CSci) with a strong foundation in materials science.

Her career has been enriched by her active involvement in the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (IOM3), where she has been a member since 2009 and a committee member since 2019. Krystelle's dedication to continuous professional development, along with her commitment to mentoring and community engagement, has made her a respected leader in her field. She brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and practical industry experience, making her an invaluable asset to PerkinElmer and the broader scientific community.
