This webinar highlights the capabilities, applications and versatility of the Bruker Fourier 80 benchtop NMR spectrometer, demonstrating how high-field NMR methodologies seamlessly translate to this compact yet robust system. Despite its smaller size and simplified operation, the Fourier 80 retains essential features commonly found in high-field instruments, making advanced NMR techniques accessible and efficient.

The presentation showcases powerful experimental approaches such as the NOAH (NMR by Ordered Acquisition and 1H-Detection) experiment, which combines multiple 2D NMR experiments efficiently, and the integration of non-uniform sampling (NUS) which significantly reduces acquisition times while preserving spectral resolution.

In fact, any existing compatible high-field experiment can easily be run on the Fourier 80, whether it is in the default TopSpin library or if it has been created by the user. The webinar will explore Pure Shift NMR techniques, such as PSYCHE, which suppresses homonuclear J-couplings to produce clearer spectra, as well as SHARPER (Sensitive, Homogeneous And Resolved PEaks in Real time), which improves sensitivity and resolution by removing homonuclear and heteronuclear couplings. These techniques are extremely useful at 80 MHz where the signals have lower dispersion and larger multiplets. Through these demonstrations, the webinar underscores how the Fourier 80 delivers high-performance NMR spectroscopy without compromising analytical depth, proving its robustness and adaptability in diverse experimental settings, including applications on the Multi-Talent multinuclear system.
