Larry Tucker is the Director of Norms and Standards at Metrohm USA. In his 40-year career, Larry has held positions in sales, marketing and business development, as well as management. In his current role, Larry works with industry partners to improve and develop new test methods in the petroleum, environmental, pharmaceutical and food markets. He actively participates in ASTM Committee D02 Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels and Lubricants where he serves as Secretary. He's also chairperson of subcommittee 6 Liquid Fuels and Lubricants. He has led and participated in the development and improvement of numerous ASTM test methods and standards. Larry received his B.S in Chemistry from the University of West FL and has over 35 years of industry experience in developing analytical test methods.
Presenter: Elena Hagemann (Process Spectroscopy Product Manager, Metrohm USA)
Elena Hagemann is the Product Manager for Process Spectroscopy at Metrohm USA in Riverview, Florida. She earned her Master degree in Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry at the Applied University of Aalen, Germany, where she completed her studies with her Master thesis focused on Karl Fischer Titration, NIR Spectroscopy and Multivariate Data Analysis. Elena joined the Metrohm Group in August 2013 and started with Metrohm USA in January of 2018, focusing on Raman and NIR Spectroscopy. She performs internal as well as customer training.
