Team Leader Organics

The Role

We’re looking for an inspiring and proactive Team Leader – Organics to join our Hawarden team. In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated group of laboratory analysts and support staff who play a vital part in delivering accurate, high-quality analytical testing and logistical support.

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that testing is carried out efficiently, teams are motivated, and our customers receive excellent service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and laboratory experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career.

About the Position

Location: Hawarden
Contract Type: Full Time and 12-month Fixed-Term
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: From £29,690 per annum

The day to day

  • Lead and inspire a skilled team of Analysts, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality results.
  • Ensure that analytical quality, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met.
  • Support the development of your team through coaching, feedback, and training.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and lead problem-solving initiatives.
  • Manage workloads, resources, and budgets effectively to meet delivery targets

The Essentials

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Laboratory experience, ideally in environmental or analytical testing.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and regulatory compliance.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to continuous learning.
