INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER
Job Description
Position Summary:
- The Industrial Engineer will use their technical and interpersonal skills to assist the Plant Manager in the areas of:
- Work Schedules and Workflow
- Production Issues
- Quality Control and Improvement
- Cost Reduction
- Personnel and Resource Management
Schedule:
- 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday – Friday
Position Responsibilities:

Review work schedules and workflow as required to achieve on-time delivery of product

Effectively communicate production issues and resolve through designated channels

Analyze quality issues and work to implement effective corrective action

Work to reduce operating costs through efficient use of resources

Assist in the effective management of personnel and available resources
Position Requirements:

The Industrial Engineer is required to be competent in the following areas:
-
Communication, both written and verbal
-
Problem solving by detecting, analyzing, and resolving
-
Quality management by identifying areas for improvement and then implementing a solution
-
Project planning as it relates to the effective use machinery and human resources
-
Management of personnel and resources
-
Critical thinking as required to identify advantages and downsides of proposed solution

Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering. Study in the areas of machine tool use and implementation is preferred.
