Location/Division Specific Information - Located in an Australian capital city, working across the Australia and New Zealand region. Chemical Analysis Devision (CAD)

Keys to Success:
Own all sales account management responsibilities for our OES, XRF, XRD, PGNAA and automation solutions with a focus on industrial (cement, metals, mining) environmental testing and academic markets.
Prospect for new business, qualify sales leads, and generate a strong opportunity funnel. Continually advance opportunities to close business.
Develop territory business plan and update according to business and market changes. Provide accurate booking forecasts and reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Prepare and deliver exciting, compelling, and focused technical presentations.
Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders.
Work collaboratively with other commercial team members to share market feedback and ensure full value is provided to customers.
Support product issues in the field by liaising with the service group and application engineers for solutions.
Education
- Degree in sciences with profound knowledge in elemental and structural analysis.
Experience
- This position is ideal for an experienced professional wanting to be involved with a dynamic team and exposed to a constant variety of customer application areas.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Bachelor or Master degree of Material Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or other technical/science degree
Background in Analytical Instrumentation, including XRF, XRD, OES and PGNAA, for material characterization and/or process control
An outgoing personality with strong communication skills with a diverse audience enabling closure of sales and solving issues
Able and willing to travel to customer locations
Systematic problem solving by working with customers and marketing/service teams
Presentation skills and crafting material for presentations to internal and external audiences
A strong sense of team spirit and cooperation within the CAD team
Self-starter, with an appetite for healthy competition
