Anton Paar is offering the Ultrapyc 5000 gas pycnometer — a high-performance density analyzer designed for measuring solid samples, powders, suspensions, and foams. With intelligent method selection and fully automated operation, it enables a sample-to-result workflow in under three minutes.

The 5000 model features built-in temperature control (approx. 3 °C to 50 °C) with high stability, a PowderProtect mode for fine powders, and flow, pulse, and vacuum sample-conditioning modes. Measurement accuracy reaches approximately 0.015% at the reference volume.

Ultrapyc 5000 is ideal for quality-control laboratories in food, construction (e.g., asphalt), chemical, pharmaceutical, and battery-manufacturing industries, where reliable density measurement of volatile or complex samples is required.
