Anton Paar autosampler Xsample 340 with cleaning (Demo)

Anton Paar is offering the Xsample 340 autosampler, designed for efficient and precise filling of Anton Paar measuring instruments. The device provides automatic sample dosing, measurement, and cleaning, significantly simplifying workflows and minimizing operator errors.

Xsample 340 allows filling of various sample types directly from 2 mL, 5 mL, and 10 mL plastic syringes, or a 5 mL glass syringe. It can handle samples with viscosities up to 36,000 mPa·s at ambient temperature. Thanks to its force sensor, the instrument automatically detects sample viscosity and adjusts the filling speed, ensuring easy, safe, and reproducible loading of measuring cells.

Two filling modes (filling and holding / filling and releasing) offer flexibility for different applications. Minimum sample volume is approximately 3 mL (depending on system configuration). The device performs automatic cleaning using up to two rinse liquids, with typical consumption of 7–11 mL depending on rinse duration.

Xsample 340 includes its own compressed air source (max. 1.5 bar) and can also be connected to an external air supply up to 2.0 bar (29 psi) for drying.

With its robust design, adaptive filling force, and user-friendly operation, Xsample 340 is ideal for routine measurements, viscous samples, and use in the food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.
